The Piccolo Premium stairway is similar in design to the Zig Zag Junior stairway with similar counterbalance springs and operates in the same way. It is manufactured from extruded aluminium and has a load capacity of 150kgs per tread, 350kgs for the overall stairway unit.

Mounted onto a 19mm plywood back board for easy installation into prepared openings the back board measures 395mmx120mm  floor – ceiling up to 3090mm minimum hatch openings 600mm width x 700mm length

Manufactured to DIN EN 14975 (DIN4570), a stairway unit supplied as a ready to fit unit comprising of a counter balanced, sprung aluminium stairway made from extruded aluminium components.

• Floor to Fixing Height: Maximum of 2900mm to bottom edge of backboard

• Tread Size: 330 x 80mm (280mm x 80mm also supplied if required)

The above is listed as the absolute minimum but ideally you require the below for the zig zag junior

9 Tread - 750mm (List shows 620mm)

10- Tread - 800mm (List Shows 670mm)

11 Tread - 850mm (List shows 750mm)

12 Tread - 900mm (List Shows 820mm

For easy access make the length as long as is possible, an ideal would be 900mm - 1000mm for easy access.
