Loft Conversions Success Story 5 - The Photographic Library Ltd
You’ve all seen them, and you may have wondered where on earth you could get them. This library stair is a high quality stair/ladder ideal for use in factories or shops. It is a lateral sliding ladder similar in fashion to ones seen in traditional sweet shops and libraries. It can be used for access to mezzanine floors when a fixed staircase is not needed or wanted.
The Library stair has been available from the Loft Shop for the last year, and as such we have only just managed to get some images of the product in action in our customers premises.
Bill Holden of The Photographic Library Ltd based in Covent Garden decided that the library stair was the only possible space saving solution left for his offices. The stairs are used to access a centralised mezzanine floor area, which is the home for all the computer hardware and digital photographic equipment.
